Double ferrule fittings can be identified by the stepped shoulders on the straight body and nut. The straight body and nut are made through close grain forgings. ​It allows the connection of two straight tubes, either in inches or metric size. Also known as instrumentation fittings, double ferrule has a mechanical grip design in order to secure tubing connections.

 

  • Composed of four precision parts: body, nut, front and back ferrule.
  • Front ferrule creates a seal against the fitting body, and the back ferrule helps to form an effective tube grip.
  • The fitting performs leak proof sealing with all assembly and reassembly motion being transmitted axially through the tube.
  • Double ferrule are commonly used in extensive applications such as domestic, commercial, and industrial applications to suit different plumbing needs.
  • Double ferrule elbow combines pipes together at a 90 degree angle.
