JIS 10K Cast Steel Flange End Y-Strainer

The Y-Strainer functions as a mechanical filtration device, segregating solid particles and liquids from fluids while trapping debris to prevent pipeline equipment from detrimental effects of contaminants. The effectiveness of the Y-strainer relies on its mesh filter, which decides the size of particles permitted to pass through, preventing particles entering system. Y-strainer’s regular cleaning can be done by shutting down system and removing strainer cap to remove debris.
