A105 Socket Weld Forged Steel Gate Valve 800 PSI

A gate valve is used to either completely stop fluid flow or allow full flow within a system. It is not suitable for fluid flow control as the valve’s seating surface and disc may be easily eroded. The gate valve requires minimal space along the pipeline to function, the disc in the center of the valve prevents fluid movement and can be raised and lowered by turning the wheel handle either clockwise to open or clockwise to close.

• Consists of body, seat, stem, bonnet, wedge, gasket, and hand wheel.
• Made of Forged Steel A105.
